England have booked their place in the final of Euro 2024 after a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Netherlands in the semi-finals.

In a highly entertaining match, Ollie Watkins scored a late stunner to send the Three Lions through to their second consecutive European Championship final. England had taken the lead through Luke Shaw in the first half, but Wout Weghorst equalised for the Netherlands in the second half.

The match was played at a high tempo, with both teams creating chances. England were the more dominant side in the first half, but the Netherlands came back into the game in the second half. However, it was England who ultimately emerged victorious, thanks to Watkins' late goal.

England will now face Spain in the final, which will be played on Sunday 14 July. Spain defeated Italy in the other semi-final.
