BREAKING: Johnny Davis Makes History in NBA Draft

Davis, 29-year-old Compton native, breaks age barrier

Leads all-rookie team in scoring, assists, and rebounds

Johnny Davis, a 29-year-old Compton, California native, has made history by becoming the oldest player ever drafted into the NBA. Davis, a 6'5" shooting guard, was selected by the Washington Wizards with the 15th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Davis played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin, where he was a three-time All-American and the 2022 Lute Olson National Player of the Year. He led the Badgers to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2022 and the Elite Eight in 2023.

Davis has impressed NBA scouts with his all-around game. He is a skilled scorer, passer, and rebounder. He also has a high basketball IQ and is a good defender. Davis is expected to make an immediate impact for the Wizards, who are looking to make a playoff run this season.
