NSW State Of Origin Team Selected
The NSW State of Origin team was selected tonight with Origin veteran Paul Gallen left out of the side. The team will be led by Kurt Gidley, with Jarryd Hayne named at fullback and Greg Bird at five-eighth.
Gallen's omission is a surprise, given his experience and standing in the NSW team. However, coach Ricky Stuart has opted for a younger side, with several players making their Origin debuts.

The NSW team will face Queensland in Game 1 of the 2010 State Of Origin series at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, May 26.
